Rose Brown

Mrs. Rose Marie Brown, 93, of Grenada, passed away Monday, September 22, 2025 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Grenada. She was born February 15, 1932 in Illinois to William and Elizabeth Vidmar. Rose was a homemaker and a life-long member of Tillatoba Baptist Church. She loved the Lord, her children, grandchildren, her church and working word puzzles.

Survivors include four daughters, Yvonne Bass(Darrell) of Toccopola, Joyce Moore(the late Terry Moore) of Grenada, Carolyn Blanco(John) of Sacramento, CA and Teresa Carpenter(Doug) of Bedford, TX; step-children, Samantha Herrington and Jeff Herrington; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Brown; and sons, Richard McClure(Sandra), David McClure(Melanie) and Jason Herrington.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday at Tillatoba Baptist Church with Rev. Rickey Harris officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Union Cemetery at Tillatoba. Family and friends will gather one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.
