SALEM, OH – Rose A. Carson, of East Liverpool, formerly of Wellsville, passed away Friday evening, November 15, 2024, at Auburn Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Salem. She was 74 years old.
Born in East Liverpool, December 16, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Katherine Mae Haught. A graduate of Beaver Local High School, she was a member of the First Free Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Carson, in 1994. She was also preceded by her companion, Emerson Frye in 2022, a sister, Shirley Kindler and two brothers, Danny Haught and Robert Parsons, as well as a grandson, Cody Carson in 2013.
Survivors include her children: three daughters, Amy Phillips of Salem, Jenny Carson of Leetonia, and Jessica Carson of Chester, and a son, Joe Carson, Jr. and his wife, Amy, of King George, Virginia. She also leaves 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit Sunday, November 24, at the Dawson Funeral Home where the family will be present from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Evangelist Rico Brown will conduct a funeral service Monday, November 25, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Following the service, friends and family will gather at the Dawson Family Center for fellowship.
