Rose was always kind and loving. She adored my dad, her big brother, and enjoyed getting together with her siblings. The photo is from one of the many wedding celebrations. Much love to Rodney and Debbie.

Aunt Rosie is a very special aunt to me. She is my closest aunt. She is also my Godmother. I remember her babysitting me occasionally as a child and she made the best pancakes. She also make delicious cakes. My favorite was her chocolate cake. When she came over for dinner, she often bought dessert and it was something that everyone looked forward to. Her homemade pizza is exactly like my grandmother´s (her mom´s). It is the best pizza. She would sometimes make that for us too when she came over for New Years Eve dinner.
Her house was always so clean. She was often outside in her yard maintaining it perfectly like picking up every weed and leave. I want a clean house and nice yard and I work very hard to maintain that. My husband refers to her and says I am like her.
I remember a couple of times when I was finally an adult and just got married that I would pick her up on my day off to go to the Spa. She absolutely loved being pampered. Facials were her favorite. One time, she made me laugh so much at the spa. She talked loudly to me about blackheads and how I better make sure to get mine treated. I think everyone in the spa heard her say that and the way that it came out was beyond funny. We could not stop laughing. I think the staff thought we were crazy because her and I just could not stop laughing about other things too. It was definitely a very fun day that I remember with her.
When she came over for dinner at my parents house, most everyone rushed into the den to watch TV after dinner. Her and I would remain sitting at the kitchen table and talk and talk. We talked about anything and she is a wonderful listener. We laughed and I will never forget her laugh. My mom would join us too and it is another wonderful memory.
She will always have a special place in my heart. My memories of her will never go away.

Rose was more like a sister to me than a sister-in-law. We had all of our family holidays together. I never had to plan dessert as she always brought the most delicious cakes. She was godmother to two of my daughters but was close to all three and followed their interests. She baby sat Christy when my mother-in-law was out of town. She lived less than a mile from me
so we would see each other often. She will be forever missed.

I am so saddened by the lost of my Aunt Rose. She has been an important part of my life as long as I can remember. She was my godmother and would spend many holidays at our house. On Saturdays, she and my dad would go to the market and many different grocery stores. I am glad Rose and my dad are together again but I will always feel a loss in my heart.
