Rose A. DiMuro, aged 102, passed away on December 9, 2024, in Westwood, NJ. Born in Sea Cliff, Long Island, Rose lived a long and fulfilling life characterized by dedication to her family and career.
Rose worked as an Administrative Assistant in the Purchasing Department at Rexnord, Inc., in Paramus, NJ, from 1955 until her retirement in 1986. Her career spanned over three decades, during which she demonstrated unwavering professionalism and commitment to her role.
Outside of work, Rose had a passion for reading a wide variety of books and was an avid knitter. She also cherished time spent babysitting and was a member of Our Lady of Consolation Church. These hobbies provided her with much joy and allowed her to connect deeply with her community and family.
Rose was predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony DiMuro, who passed away in 1959, and her sister, Mary Lacka. She is survived by her loving family, including her son, Raymond DiMuro and his wife Linda; grandchildren, Kimberly Scrivanich and her husband Dennis, Leah Mager and her partner Nick Ranieri, and Philip DiMuro and his wife Kerly; as well as her great-grandchildren, Antonette Scrivanich, Kevin Mager, Elizabeth Mager, Lucia Scrivanich, and Emma Ranieri.
The family will receive friends Friday December 13th from 5:00 to 8:00pm at the Calhoun-Mania Funeral Home, 19 Lincoln Ave., Rutherford. Funeral Saturday gathering 8:30am at the funeral home for a 9:30am Mass of Christian Liturgy at Our Lady of Consolation Church, 1799 Hamburg Turnpike, Wayne. Interment St. Joseph's Cemetery, Hackensack.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Food for the Poor @ https://foodforthepoor.org/.
