Rose Dudzik, age 96, of Hammond, IN passed away on February 27, 2023. She is survived by her daughter-in-law: Diane Dudzik; grandchildren: Brian (Jennifer) Dudzik, Natalie (Michael) Majtas, and Ashley (Matthew Lee) Dudzik; great grandchildren: Luke Majtas, Joseph Dudzik, and Fletcher Lee; sister: Lilian (James) Milligan; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: Joseph Dudzik; and son: George Dudzik.
Rose loved cooking for her family, and doting on her grandchildren and great grandchildren; telling stories, singing songs, and making up games, crafts, and activities to inspire their imagination. She was also a longtime parishioner of the former St. Catherine of Sienna Church in Hessville.
A funeral Mass will be on Monday, March 6, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Church, 8501 Calumet Ave.
Munster, IN with Fr. Mike Yadron officiating. Inurnment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL.
