Rose Mae Naquin Dupre passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at the age of 98. Beloved wife of the late Freddie J. Dupre for 66 years. Loving mother of Ronald Dupre Sr. (Brenda), Marvin Dupre (Peggy) and Brian Dupre (Shelley). Daughter of the late Agnes Levron Naquin and Sidney Naquin. Sister of the late Camille, Paul, Maurice, Pierre, Norman, and Percy Naquin, Aggie Bergeron, Lucena Bouquet, Leona Cheramie, Cecile and Beaulah Naquin. She was known as Mamere to Ronald Dupre, Jr., Brandi LeCompte (Brad), Christine Bass (Kevin), and Hailey Ainsworth (Corey). Great grandmother of Kirsten and Jarryd LeCompte, Paige and Hope Bass. Great great grandmother of Levi Baker. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. She was a native of Point-Aux-Chenes, Louisiana and a resident of Marrero, LA. for the past 75 years. Rose will be remembered for her love of cooking, sewing, ironing, family gatherings and dancing to cajun music. She was the matriarch of the Naquin family. The family would like to thank Kendra and Todd and the entire staff of Agape Care Homes for the love and care they gave to Rosie Dupre for the last months of her life. Family and Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 11am. Visitation will be held on Wednesday morning from 9:30am until 11am. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Family and friends can view and sign the online guest book at www.mothefunerals.com.
