A graveside service for Mrs. Rose Mary Eubanks, age 96, of Bastrop, Louisiana, is scheduled for 1 PM, Friday, January 9, 2026 at the Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rev. Ronnie Thompson. Services are under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.

Mrs. Eubanks was born August 21, 1929. A lifelong resident of Morehouse Parish, Mrs. Eubanks was a homemaker and devoted wife for fifty-five years to her late husband, Kelly Eubanks. She was a faithful follower of Christ, long time member of Cherry Ridge Church of God, voracious reader, and phenomenal cook. While she never had children of her own, she deeply loved her numerous nieces and nephews and their children, to whom she was affectionately known as "RoRo".

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kelly Eubanks; her parents, Seymore and Lilla Laing; her brothers, Richard Laing, Dave Laing, and Rufus Laing; her sisters, Maggie Ford, Opal Rogers, and Mary Alice Stewart; and a niece, Sally Sivils.

She is survived by her nephew, Clifton Rogers (Saithong); her nieces, Hazel Jean Riles, Emily Goodman (James), Deborah Kilbourne (Don), Beverly Thompson (Ronnie); and Christi Copes (Don); along with numerous great-nephews and great-nieces.

Pallbearers will be Don Copes, Don Kilbourne, Spencer Martin, Lawson Thompson, and Philip Thompson.

The family would like to express their thanks for the loving care given for many years by all the staff at Laginappe Health Care Facilty in Bastrop.
