Rose Dolores Giangiobbe, lovingly known as "Jan," peacefully passed away on November 15, 2025, at the age of 90, surrounded by her family.

A longtime resident of Anaheim, California for 60 years, Rose was a devoted partner to the late Ann Mitchell and a cherished Godmother to Rebecca Beaver for over three decades. She was the fifth of seven sisters and is survived by Antoinette Conte and Sandra Capone, along with many nieces and nephews who adored her.

In the early 1960s, Rose proudly served her country in the United States Marine Corps as a Staff Sergeant, earning an honorable discharge. Friends and family remember her as generous, selfless, and compassionate-always bringing joy, laughter, and love wherever she went.

Rose found happiness in reading, playing cards, and visiting casinos. She was deeply committed to supporting charities dedicated to children and animals, reflecting her lifelong spirit of kindness and care.

Her legacy of love, service, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Family will be receiving friends at 11 am on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in the chapel at Memory Gardens Memorial Park & Mortuary at 455 W. Central Ave. Brea.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Rose's memory to St. Jude’s ( www.stjude.org) or your local animal shelter.
