Coming home and not seeing you is something I never thought I´d experience. I miss seeing and talking to you Nana. I miss hearing you tell me stories about your life and about my daddy growing up. Your love was the sweetest love I´ve ever known. Thank you for loving me the way you did. Thank you for seeing and getting to know me for me and for making me feel so special. Thank you for being a true representation of a God fearing woman. You were truly one of a kind Nana. I love you so much and I miss you lady. You´ll always be my baby and I´ll always be your girl.

I will always remember "Nana" As The Strong Faith filled, anointed Lady I met at her Granddaughters home, Kenyatta "Yaya". She and I sat until 3:00 AM one Morning as I was heading home around 10:00 PM that night. I sat down after seeing I was going to be there a few minutes more but, only to still be sitting wide eyed and listening ears on. She spoke remarkable memories of her life and walk with God. She told me to Always remember anything bad you´re going through will pass. I´ve always remembered those words. She was so loved by everyone who knew her. Being an outsider looking in I would have felt correct in saying she was the glue that held the Family together. I´m sure her legacy will live on in each. I know she was Yayas favorite person and her go to. I´ll be praying for you Yaya and the entire Family as you go through such a difficult time in your Life. God Bless!
