Mrs. Rose Lee Latham

Rose Lee Latham 88 departed this life on Friday February 20th at the Stamford Care Center. She was a native of Robersonville North Carolina. Rose Lee moved to Connecticut early in life, after meeting Clifton Latham they then moved to Suffolk Virginia. Rose Lee moved back to Connecticut in 2002 where she lived until her passing.

Rose Lee lived a very quiet life; at a young age she worked on the farm in North Carolina. After moving North, she worked as a Health Care Aid. Rose Lee married Clifton Latham and moved to Suffolk, VA, and there she was a homemaker, enjoying cooking and sewing for different churches and organizations.

Rose Lee preceded in death her husband, Clifton Latham; mother, Elizabeth Askew; father, Jasper Paige, brother, Eugene Askew.

Rose Lee leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Ruth Dawes of CT; three grandchildren, Corlet Dawes of CT, Anthony Dawes of CT, Malaysia Staton of NC; two great-grandchildren, Shamia Fullmore of FL, Dayqwon Dawes of KY; six great-great grandchildren; one brother, John Askew of MD; four sisters, Rachel J. Askew of NC, Carolyn R. Askew of NC, Marylin Askew of CT, Janice Askew of NC; two stepbrothers, William and Benny Earl both of NC; a host of nieces nephews, other relatives and friends.
