It is with much sadness we announce the passing of Rose Marie (King) LeBeau 89, of Ogdensburg. Her service will be held on Saturday, November, 15, 2025, at the First Congregational Church in Ogdensburg at 10:00am with Rev. Walter Smith officiating. Mrs. LeBeau passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on November 4, 2025 at Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Plattsburgh.
She is survived by her children, Melanie (John) Morgan of Ogdensburg, William LeBeau of Plattsburgh, Jeanette LeBeau of Plattsburgh, son-in-law, Gary Plumadore of Plattsburgh and her brother-in-law David LeBeau.
Grandchildren R.J. and Jordan (Kaylah) LeFleur, Bryan (Shantell) Morgan, Katie (Mike) Morrow, B.J., Emily, Michael, Nicolas, Anthony and Easton LeBeau, Matthew (Saleen) Putnam, Alexandra and Abigail Putnam.
Great grandchildren, Arianna and Shea LeFleur, Gordon and Miles Morrow, Remington and Nola Morgan, Silas LeBeau, Arthur Morse and Isla Anne LeFleur, whom she was able to meet just weeks before she passed away. She is also survived by her former in-law's Robert LeFleur, David Putnam and Michelle LeBeau, who were all there for her in her last days.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harold (Skip) LeBeau, her daughter, Debra LeFleur-Plumadore on April 9, 2025 and her siblings Melvin King, Elizabeth Austin, George (Bob) King and Louise Helmer.
Rose Marie was born on August 15, 1936 in Ogdensburg, NY, the daughter of Melvin and Clara (Pollard) King. She married Harold (Skip) LeBeau on February 20, 1954 at the First Congregational Church in Ogdensburg.
She worked as a CNA at Hepburn Hospital for many years, as well as at CVPH in Plattsburgh, NY. Her most important job was as "Mom "and "Meme". Meme had a unique and special bond with each of her grandchildren. They thought the world of her and they will cherish the many memories they created with her.
Rose Marie was a long-time member of the First Congregational Church and enjoyed singing in the choir. She also belonged to Pro Musica and Sweet Adeline's. She enjoyed playing cards, dancing and camping. Rose Marie camped nearly 40 years at Iroquois Campground in Peru, NY. Family would gather around the fire just to be with Meme and Pappy. She will always be remembered most for her kindness, empathy and deep love for family and friends. Her unconditional love touched everyone who knew her.
The family would like to thank the staff of Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Plattsburgh for their kindness and support, especially in the last weeks of Mom's passing.
Donations may be made to St. Jude's or First Congregational Church.
Mom, we hope you always eat dessert first!!
