Rose Davis Maggard

Rose Davis Maggard, age 74 of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at her residence. She was born September 18, 1950 in Tip Top, Kentucky to Carol Campbell Watkins of Garrett, Kentucky & the late Lewis Watkins. She was the wife of the late Sammy Maggard & Bert Davis. Along with her mother she is survived by her Son: Tim (Pam) Davis of Hippo, Kentucky; Daughters: Vonda (Ricky) Brown of Hippo, Kentucky, Loretta McFarland of Beattyville, Kentucky & Mary Lou Burke of Georgetown, Kentucky; Grandchildren: Tracy (Adam), Timmy Bert (Ashley), Cory, Justin (Joyce), Brittany (Brandon), David (Ginger), Rhea, Mary, Kenneth & Joey; Great Grandchildren: Eathan, Tanner, Cooper, Braxton, Baylor, Savannah & DJ; Great Great Grandchildren: Carson, Ezra, Addison, Tanner, Gavin, Parker & Xavier; Brothers: Jerry (Ruby)Watkins of Garrett, Kentucky & Clyde Malecki of Knox, Indiana; A Host of Nieces, Nephews, Family & Friends. Along with her father and first and second husband she was preceded in death by her Brothers & Sisters: Walter Watkins, Terry Watkins, Faye Prater & Mae Hale. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Visitation will begin Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 6pm at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 12 noon at the funeral home with Carl Shepherd officiating

Burial will follow at Hicks Cemetery, Hippo, Kentucky
