Rose A. Onyango, 60, wife to  Joshua O. Wuomuga, tragically passed away Friday November 25th, 2022 at the Gundersen Hospital in La Crosse Wisconsin.

Born January 1, 1962, in Siaya, Kenya, she was the daughter of the late Doris Abiero  and the late John Okello .

Mrs. Rose  Onyango attended  Aluor  Girls High School, then proceeded to a technical college ; Kenya’s Technical Trainers College in Nairobi where she pursued Telecommunication. In her spare time, she did a lot of farming and spent time with her family. She was also a strong religious woman who loved the word of God.

She is survived by sons Harrison Muga and his wife Lynette Atinga Muga ;  Beatrice .A. Onyango, Kisumu, Kenya ; George Onyango and his  wife Cassandra Onyango, Rochester MN;  Wycliffe Onyango, San Antonio,Texas; Dorice A.Onyango, Stuttgart, Germany and Juliet Christensen and husband Riley Christensen, Winona, MN.

She was married to Mr. Joshua Onyango since 1980 and lived happily  together for 42 years.  Our mother was a woman who enjoyed life and with a big heart . She had a lot of love to give to her children and all.  She took in orphans and treated them like their own. She valued education and ensured that her children got the best . She was a woman with lots of wisdom and passed it on to her children and people she loved.

She came to the United States to be close to her children in 2017. Knowing her to be a hardworking and industrious woman she secured a job in Winona Health as a House Aide where she worked and enlightened many lives until her demise. She will be missed, and we pray that God rests her soul in eternal peace.

Psalms 62 : Find rest, O my soul, In God alone; My hope comes from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation.
