Rose Palmer (Richmond) passed away on October 31, 2025, in Chapman, Kansas at Chapman Valley Manor. Born on December 12, 1961, in Verdun, France. Rose was a military child, she lived in lots of places including France, Germany, South Dakota, Maine, Colorado and her final home Junction City, Kansas.

Rose was the beloved daughter of Liliane and Richard Richmond. She grew up alongside her sister Jean Blanken and brothers, John and Richard Richmond, forming bonds that remained strong throughout her life. Rose was the proud mother of her two daughters, Crystal Sinnard and Wendy Spinden. Rose’s legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Zoe Nielsen-Larkin, Harley Spinden, Aly Spinden, Rylinn Sinnard, and Carson Sinnard.

Rose found joy in cheering on the K-State Wildcats, her closet full of K-State fan gear. She loved spending time outdoors camping at Milford Lake, where she could relax under the open sky in front of a roaring campfire and enjoy the beauty of nature. An avid reader, Rose often found comfort and inspiration in books. She also shared a unique bond with her sister Jean through their work together at the Zombie Toxin Haunted House.

Her affection for animals-especially horses-was another defining part of her life. Whether watching them graze or simply being near them, horses brought Rose a sense of peace and connection.

Rose’s presence will be deeply missed by those who knew her. Her memory lives on in the hearts of her family and friends.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.

Cremation has taken place, the family will be having a private memorial.
