Rose Philip Obituary
Born in Lowell, Vermont on August 3, 1945, she was the daughter of the late James and Delima (Therrault) McAllister. Rose was 79 years old.
On November 10, 1989, in Essex Junction, Rose married William T. Philip, Jr., who survives her.
Rose was educated in Lowell and enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, camping with her family and friends and listening to music.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Bill: her 2 daughters, Lori Washburn and her fiancé, Jay Gilmond, and Lisa Valley and her husband, Edward, as well as grandchildren, Brittany Valley, Paige Provasi, Joshua Provasi and great grandson, Hudson James Gross.
Rose is also survived by her sisters Virginia Raymond, Bertha Ostrowski, Blanche Coulombe, Susanne Roukenon, and Christine Fippinger.
In addition to her parents, James and Delima, Rose was predeceased by her sisters Catherine McDonald, Marie Cadoret, Beatrice Brophy, and Jennie McAllister and by her brothers William McAllister, Thomas McAllister, and James McAllister.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Holy Angels Church, 245 Lake Street, St. Albans, Vermont. Prayers of committal and interment will be held at a later date at Saint Ignatius Catholic Cemetery in Lowell.
