Rose Raymond Obituary
MILTON - Rose Norma Raymond, age 78, passed away on September 6, 2023 at the McClure-Miller Respite House in Colchester.
She was born in St. Albans on August 28, 1945 to the late Joseph & Alma (Elwood) Dupre.
Rose had a love for animals, particularly "Baby," and found solace and joy in their companionship. She worked as a retail stock clerk for many years. Rose was also an in-home care companion for several elderly individuals. In her free time, Rose enjoyed expressing her creativity through crocheting and crafting. She also volunteered at Martha's Kitchen and Samaritan House and community church events.
She is survived by her brother, Joseph Dupre of Oxford, Massachusetts, her sister, Elizabeth Whittemore of Waterbury Center, Vermont and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Rose was predeceased by her siblings, Barbara Johnson, Janet Dupre, Donald Dupre, Jane Quilliam and Robert Dupre.
Friends and family are invited to Rose's life celebration to include a graveside memorial service on Friday, September 29, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Calvary St., St. Albans, VT.
