Rose Rente Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home on Oct. 17, 2023.
ASHTABULA - Rose (Eurez) Rente passed away peacefully on Monday, October 16, 2023 at Saybrook Landing Nursing Home. A lifelong Ashtabula resident, she was born on August 7, 1923 to Ralph and Lucille (Rocco) Eurez.
Rose graduated from Edgewood High School and married Victor Rente on February 9, 1946. Sadly, their life together was cut short when he was killed in a hunting accident in 1953, leaving her a widow with two young children ages 3 and 6. She went on to become a nurse (LPN) and always put her kids and family first. She loved nursing and worked at Charlotte Nursing Home for over 20 years (now Glenbeigh) before finishing her nursing career in 1991 at ACMC.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church/Our Lady of Peace for over 75 years.
She is survived by her son, Dennis (Carol) Rente of Ashtabula and her daughter, Vicki Topolovich of Mentor; her grandchildren Tammi Wisnyai, Victor (Terri) Rente, and Andy Topolovich; great-grandchildren, Louie and Alex Wisnyai; her brother, Paul Eurez; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law Tom Topolovich; Sisters: Mary Sebastian and Ann Dubaj; Brothers: Frank Verdi, Mike Verdi, Anthony Belmonte, John Verdi, George Verdi, two brothers in infancy and stillborn twin sisters.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no calling hours and burial will be private at St. Joseph Cemetery with Rev. Raymond Thomas of Our Lady of Peace presiding.
