Rose Rivera

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Rose Rivera, who left us peacefully on August 17, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on December 29, 1935, in the Philippines to Lourdes and Pedro, Rose was the proud oldest sibling of three brothers and two sisters. She often spoke with admiration of her father, a brave WWII veteran, and carried his spirit throughout her life.

Rose pursued her passion for medicine at The University of Eastern Philippines, earning her Doctorate in Medicine. It was there that she caught the eye of a certain Roger, a friend of her sister, and the two soon fell in love, building a beautiful life together. They shared countless adventures, and Rose always made it a point to return to the Philippines to visit family, cherishing those connections.

Known for her impeccable sense of style, Rose loved fashion and enjoyed shopping, always dressing to impress. But what she loved most was spending time with her family, whether it was indulging in artistic endeavors or sharing laughter and stories with her daughters, Ruby and Rosa.

Rose is survived by her loving husband, Roger, and her two daughters, Ruby and Rosa, her grandson, Antone and his wife, Laura, and great-grandson, Elliot Jude, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts.
