Rose Mary Roskilly passed away November 30, 2025 at Heritage Care Center in Fairbury, Nebraska. She was born on October 16, 1929, to John and Rose Williamson in Livingston, Montana.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her husband Ray Roskilly and her brother Tom, Williamson. She leaves behind three daughters. Joanne and Judy with her first husband William Wallace and Tammi Jordan with Ray Roskilly.
She leaves behind eight grandchildren, twenty-nine great grandchildren, and seventeen great, great grandchildren.
She was an excellent crocheter. She made beautiful Afghans that her family and friend’s treasure. She was a lover of cats her whole life.
She is survived by her brother Joe and Becky Williamson, Joanne and Bill Breeding, Judy Shackeford and Tammi Jordan.
Services will be Monday December 8, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Fairbury with Father Justin Fulton officiating. The family will greet friends from 6 – 8 on Sunday evening, with a Rosary at 8 p.m. at Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home in Fairbury. Memorials have been established to the local animal shelter in Rose Mary’s name. Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. www.gerdesmeyerfh.com
