Rose Teekell Obituary
Rose will always be remembered for her role as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother dedicated herself to caring for her family.
Rose Marie Teekell is survived by her husband Russell Teekell; her son Jamie Barrett and his wife Amy, her daughters Simone Barrett and Valerie Kuzawinski, as well as her grandchildren Brooke Barrett and Lauren Barrett; her sisters Irene Sarpy and Annie Lee Coutee, and her brother John Coutee.
Rose Marie Teekell was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Dorothy Beaudoin Coutee and her brother Joseph Coutee.
Services to honor and celebrate Rose's life will be held at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home on Friday June 14, 2024 at 6:00 pm. The family will receive friends from 5 pm until 6 and will resume after the service until 8 pm in the funeral home chapel.
In this time of mourning, may we find solace in the memories we shared with Rose Marie Teekell and may her legacy of love and dedication to family live on in our hearts forever.
Donations in Rose's name may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or a charity of your choice.
