Rose Myronelle Whitington

Rose and David have been friends of our family for a long time. We all met in the little town called, Iowa Park, TX. Rose asked me to babysit her 2 boys, Tim and Matt, and then came the 3rd, baby Nathan. It was wonderful that they trusted me with their boys, but I cannot believe they are all grown up now with children of their own. How time flies! Another memory we have of Rose & David was when my brother, Lee, was getting married in 1976, family came from all over the country. Rose and David showed us how to feed the multitudes! It was their version of the fishes and the loaves. From that point on when our parents were having a big family gathering we remembered Rose and how she made Chalupas! We always gave thanks to her and we always enjoyed the "more than we can eat" plate of chalupas. The Whitington family is special to us all. Rose was a very kind lady who loved the Lord. I am sure that when she walked through Heaven´s gates, God said, "We done good and faithful servant." She will be missed by many. Lynn King
