Coats, NC: Mrs. Rose Wood Williams, age 88, of Coats died Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at Green Leaf Care Center in Lillington. A Memorial service will be 4:00PM Thursday, April 2, 2015. at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Coats. Officiating will be Rev. Ed Beddingfield.             Mrs. Williams was born December 27, 1926 in Cumberland County to the late Cornelius and Bertha Brown Wood. She was also preceded in death by her husband, D. Homer Williams; sister, Eunice Austin; and brothers, Edward Wood and Ernest Wood. Mrs. Williams was a licensed Beautician and Cosmetologist and owned the Haymont Beauty Salon. She also owned and operated the Merle Norman Franchise in the Cumberland County area, and was a member of the Eastern Star, and the Coats Baptist Church.             Surviving are children & spouses, Connie & Chuck Levorse of Coats and Brad & Carol Williams of Raleigh; sisters, Geraldine Hammond of Wilmington and Shirley Durkee of Columbia, SC; brother, David Wood of Wilmington; and grandchildren & spouse, Katie & Steven Hamby, Charles Levorse, and Joanna Williams.             Family will receive friends after the Memorial service, and at other times at the home of Connie & Charles Levorse, 1224 Crawford Rd., Coats, NC.
