Rose Mary Wooten was born on Aug 3, 1940, to the late Orville and Lucille Clarkson in Mudlick Ky. She passed away October 23,2025 in Maryville TN. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years James Dick Wooten and her son Doug Wooten. She is also predeceased by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Rose Mary spent the majority of her life caring for others as an LPN and as a remarkable mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She truly possessed a servant heart!
Rose Mary was a member of Village Baptist Church in Maryville.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Gary Herd: son and daughter in law, Phillip and Idamae Wooten; daughter in law, DeAnn Wooten. She leaves to cherish her memory are her grandchildren, Brian Wooten and Laura Musgrave, Curtis and Jessica Herd, Clark Herd, Shelby Wooten and Drew Wooten. She was blessed with three great grandchildren, Ali Herd, James Herd and Lily Vanderhoff
She is also survived by brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Charlotte Clarkson; sister-in-law, Brenda Clarkson; sister and brother-in-law, Gail and Ken Smith as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to offer their heartfelt thanks to the all the staff at Life Care Center of Blount County. Their constant care, love and support have meant so much to all of us.
The family will receive friends at 4:00-6:00 PM, Saturday, October 25, 2025, at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Cades Cove Memorial Cemetery. 2342 Duncan Rd., Maryville TN for a graveside service. www.mccammonammonsclick.com 865-982-6812
