Roseann "Rose" Ingall, of Manistee, MI, went to be with the Lord on January 10, 2024, at the age of 78. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by family.
She was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 27, 1945. Known for her easy laugh, love of family and enduring faith, she lived her adult life in Virgina Beach, Manitou Beach, and Manistee. She married the love of her life, Mike on August 10, 1991 and their honeymoon to Manistee inspired them to build a life there. Their adventures included owning and operating a campground and mission work, building churches in Michigan, Texas, Ohio and West Virigina.
She operated several ceramics businesses and enjoyed family time, fishing and gardening.
Rose is survived by her sons: John (Melody) Scoby, Leo (Amy) Scoby, and Gene (Jenny) Scoby, stepdaughter Kelsey, cherished grandchildren Andrew (Jackelyn), Julia, Austin (Alexa), Ryan, Chloe, Theodore, Cadence, Carson, Camden and CaleeAnna.
She was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Delorain Marchell and her birth mother Louise (nee Polzin) Marchell, who entered eternal rest during Rose's birth.
Family and friends are invited to join for funeral services at 1:00PM on Monday, January 15, 2024 at Calvary Baptist Church in Manistee with Pastor Kenneth Nelson officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00PM until time of service. Burial will take place in the spring at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Manistee.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to offset funeral expenses.
