Roseann Morgan Bement - Roseann Morgan, 98, of Bement passed away at 5:03 a.m. Friday (Dec. 5, 2025) at ClarkLindsey, Urbana. Roseann was born on Nov. 2, 1927, in Bement, the daughter of John and Frances (Kelly) Ford. She married Robert Morgan on Feb. 7, 1948, in Bement. He passed away on Feb. 4, 2023. Roseann is survived by her son, Michael Morgan (Pat) of Bement; daughters, Mid Riggs (Richard) of Champaign, Lynne Stoerger (Rick) of Grantsburg and Patricia Wright of Camargo; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Carolyn Hannon, Jeanne Curr and Rowena Ford; and one great-grandchild. Roseann was a homemaker before working at K's Merchandise in Decatur and General Cable in Monticello. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church of Bement, St. Philomena Catholic Church of Monticello and the Bement American Legion Women's Auxiliary. Roseann served as the ditch commissioner for Unity Township for over 40 years and was a former board member of Friendship Hill. Roseann especially enjoyed walking and shopping. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Bement. A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Bement Township Cemetery.
