Rosella Marie (Teske) Peter, 94, of Baxter, Mn, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, January 28th, 2025, at Bethany Nursing Home, Brainerd, Mn. She was born on April 1, 1930, in Wheaton, Kansas to Elsie and Edward Teske. She was the second youngest of eight children. Her mother passed away when Rosella was three years old. She was raised by her older siblings. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Eldon E. Peter, on March 25, 1951, in Wheaton, Kansas (who preceded her in death in 2010).
Rosella and Eldon lived in Manhattan KS, Ottawa KS, and New Ulm MN before moving to the Brainerd lakes area in 1985. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Brainerd, Minnesota. Rosella enjoyed her family, fishing, bowling, visiting with friends, traveling and square dancing.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Floyd Teske, Merle Teske, Galen Teske and Alvin Teske, and sisters; Doris Hammel, Laura Persell and Virgie Falk.
She leaves two sons, Michael (Diana) Peter, of Lake Shore, and Jeffery (Dawn) Peter, of Pelican Rapids; one daughter, Brenda (Felix) Cruz, of Baxter, 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 11 great- great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday February 2, 2025, at 3:00pm at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to the start of the service at the Chapel. Lunch will be served following the service.
