Rosella C. Smith, 81, of Upper Sandusky, passed away at her daughter's home in Nevada on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. Rosella was born April 14, 1944, in Galion, to George A. and Lula B. (Coykandell) Baldwin. She married Elwood Smith, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Cheryl (Michael) Callahan of Nevada; sons, Elwood (Nana) Smith of Upper Sandusky and Russell (Tabitha) Smith of Nevada; sister, Nellie Baldwin of Marion; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents and husband, Rosella was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Smith; her daughter, Peggy Sue Smith; seven brothers; and four sisters.

Rosella devoted more than 30 years of her life working as a nurses aide at Fairhaven Community, where she compassionately cared for many residents throughout her career. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life.

She loved her dog, Gabriel, and enjoyed listening to country music, attending concerts, watching Little House on the Prairie, doing crossword puzzles, and putting together jigsaw puzzles.

Private family services will be held at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home, 226 E.
