Rosemary Calevro Obituary

Rosemary L. Calevro

Rosemary L. Calevro, 89, of Genoa, Ohio, passed away on Monday, August 23, 2021, at the Genoa Retirement Village. She was born in Perrysburg, Ohio on January 24, 1932, the daughter of Richard K. and Mary (Sasse) Muir. Rosemary married Joe Calevro in Perrysburg on December 17, 1954, and he preceded her in death in 1968. Rosemary had retired from Chrysler Corporation Machining Plant in Perrysburg where she worked for many years. Rosemary's pride and joy were her three sons, she loved them with a true Mother's passion! She was as a homebody who loved being outdoors in the sun, spending many hours tending her flowers and working in her yard. She liked to play Bingo and test her luck at the slots!

Rosemary is survived by her sons, Joe P. (Denise) Calevro, Mike A. Calevro and Richard L. Calevro; grandchildren, Joseph, Michael, Louis, Christopher, Andrea and Carly; along with great-grandchildren, Lottie and Nora. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Keith "Fritz", Nelson and Richard Muir; and sisters, Betty Muir and Rosebud Schivelbein.

Services for Rosemary will be private with burial in the Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Toledo. The family suggests memorials be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River Rd., Perrysburg, OH, 43551. The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory of Genoa, Ohio is assisting with arrangements. Online condolences may be shared at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.
