Rosemary A. Fenneman

Rosemary Ann Fenneman, passed away on December 5, 2023, in Syracuse, NY at the age of 91.She was born on July 9, 1932 in Deseronto, Ontario, Canada.Rosemary had a strong passion for volunteering and was known for her dedication for helping others.She loved meeting new people.She had a vibrant personality and loved to travel.She spent many years in New Mexico and Texas for the winter with friends.
Rosemary had an illustrious career in the medical field, spanning 65 years in Canada, Bermuda and the United States.Her commitment to healthcare touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on those she cared for.
In her free time, Rosemary enjoyed spending Sundays with Frank, a cherished pastime that brought her joy and relaxation.She also had a talent for cooking and delighted in preparing delicious meals for her loved ones.
Rosemary is survived by her daughter, Shari Ann Shinn; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandsons; nieces and nephew in Canada; and many treasured friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, and beloved son, Michael "Mike".
A private ceremony will be held at SUNY Upstate Medical University TBD. A celebration of life will be arranged at a later date to allow family and friends to come together and share their memories of Rosemary.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice or, to honor Rosemary's compassion for those less fortunate, "Pay It Forward" to someone in need.
Rosemary will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.Her selflessness and dedication to others will be forever remembered, and her spirit will continue to inspire those she touched.
