Rosemary Hamaker recently passed away unexpectedly. She is remembered by her loving children, Jeff (Karen), Eric, and daughter-in-law Kathleen: cherished grandchildren Colin, Kyle, Nicholas, Jonaya, and Jacora: precious great grandchildren Carter, Dakota, and August: dear sister-in-law Louise: special friend Kieth: and grand dog Maci. She is a dear aunt, cousin, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in passing by her devoted husband of over 60 years Jon; her beloved son Jon C., and her brother James.
She travelled throughout the country, often visiting national parks, and casinos along the way. Her love of travel was only surpassed by her passion for people. She loved to meet new friends and experience new cultures.
Friends and family will meet for a private memorial service in her memory on Monday, November 17, 2025, at Warren Funeral Home, 1475 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee, IL. In lieu of flowers consider a donation to International Crane Foundation savingcranes.org in her name
