Rosemary L. (Balmos) McDermott, 87, of Export, passed away peacefully Thursday, Dec. 30, 2021, at her son Mark's home in Crescent. She was born Dec. 21, 1934, in Sewickley, to the late Robert and Rose (Campasino) Balmos. Rosemary was the loving wife of the late Robert McDermott, who passed in 2016. She and Bob had a beautiful marriage of 14 years and did everything together. During that time, they went on 20 cruises, attended bluegrass festivals and garage sales in the summer, polka dances in the winter, and loved to bake and cook together. Rosemary was the loving mother of five children, and she is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and two sisters. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Nevaeh. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 2022, at BASH-NIED-JOBE FUNERAL HOME, 152 Abbe Place, Delmont, PA 15666, 724-468-8381, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, officiated by her son, Pastor Lloyd Penberthy. Interment will follow in Eastview Union Cemetery, Delmont.
