Rosemary Palmer, 69, passed away peacefully at her home on June 25, 2025, in Mansfield, Ohio.
Born Rosemary Wilson in Brownsville, Tennessee, on July 18th, 1955, to Dollie Ruth Wilson and James Wilson. Rosemary was raised in Chicago, Illinois, where she spent most of her childhood and adult life. In 1994, she moved to Mansfield, Ohio, where she built a new life and became a beloved member of the community.
She worked for many years at Design Metal Products, where she worked until the company’s closure. Rosemary accepted Christ at an early age and maintained a deep and abiding faith throughout her life. She was a faithful member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church, which she considered her spiritual home.
In 2000, she married her devoted husband, Larry Palmer, and they shared many years of companionship and love together.
Rosemary’s greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother. She was immensely proud of her four sons and never missed an opportunity to speak about them and her grandchildren with pride and love. In her quiet moments, Rosemary found comfort and entertainment in her favorite television shows. She loved watching Murder She Wrote, Cold Case, and Mom's with her 3 cats by her side.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Palmer; mother, Dollie Wilson; father, James Wilson; sister, Frankie Wentworth; and brother, Darryl Wilson.
She is survived by her brothers, James Wilson(Delores) Of Chicago and Ronald Wilson of Mansfield; her sisters, Patricia Wilson of Mansfield and Paula Wilson of Decatur, Ga; sons Calvin Wilson Sr of Mansfield., Marcus Wilson Sr of Mansfield., Timothy Gladney of Lima, and Aaron Gladney(Darcy) of Mansfield; a special nephew Plessie Wentworth III of Mansfield 19 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.
