Rosemary "Mary" or "Rosie" Ragland

June 30, 1943 – October 19, 2025

Rosemary "Mary" or "Rosie" Ragland, 82, of Malvern, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025 surrounded by family.

Born June 30, 1943, Mary spent her life caring for others - both in her 21 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant and in the warmth she shared with everyone lucky enough to know her. She was a woman who found joy in life's simple comforts - coloring, playing cards and word games, painting her nails any color except red, and showing off her favorite rings.

Mary loved her family deeply, including her beloved fur babies, Judge and Tucker, and her late companion Lucy, who surely greeted her at Heaven's gate.

She married Lynn Ragland, in 1959, and together they shared many memories before his passing in 2009.

Mary is survived by her children John, Gerald, Ric, and Kalah (Willie); 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and countless friends made along the way. She was preceded in death by her son Kenny and her special fur baby Lucy.

She also leaves behind dear friends who became chosen family - Wendy, Gary, Michael, and many others who filled her days with laughter and love.

The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Elite Hospice, CHI Hospital, Arbor Oaks, especially nurse Ariel and to everyone who loved "Mom" as their own.

Mary will be remembered for her caring heart, her colorful spirit, and the way she made everyone feel special. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Family will hold services at a later date.
