Rosetta "Babe" Day

In loving memory of Rosetta, "Babe" Day (Sacco), born June 19, 1933, who was 92 years old. Rosetta was preceded in death by her late husband of 46 wonderful years, Ralph, "Mooney" Day. She was a younger sister to George and Vivian, "Penny" Sacco. Loving mother of Debra Sheppard, Mark (JoAnne) Day and Lisa Bux. Loving Grandmother and such a devoted "Nani" to Christopher and Matthew Day, Gabby (Cam) Gay and Nicholas Bux.

Greeted in Heaven by her Great-Granddaughter, Lily June Gay.

Rosetta was such a hard-working and long-time employee of Colonial Bank of Chicago, and was happy there for many years. Her favorite pastimes were spending time with family and friends, and traveling all over, anywhere from Mexico to Alaska to Russia.

In memory of Rosetta, in lieu of flowers, please donate to St. Jude's Hospital, or to the charity of your choice.

Rosetta will be missed forever, but will always remain embedded in Our Hearts.

Funeral services are on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 12 PM to 2 PM at The Original Rago Brothers Funeral Home, 7751 W Irving Park Road, Chicago, Illinois, 60634, Phone 773-276-7800.
