Valhalla, NY – Rosetta King, 90, of Valhalla, NY passed away peacefully on April 12, 2023. Rose was born October 18, 1932 in Drumlish County Longford to the late James Courtney and Margaret Ann Evers.
Rose immigrated to the United States where she met the love of her life, Hubert, and they married on February 4, 1956. Rose and Hubert resided in Valhalla for over 50 years.
Rose was an active parishioner of Holy Name of Jesus Church. In addition, she was a long-time member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, Division 17. She loved visiting with friends and family, enjoyed bowling and babysitting, but most of all enjoyed the company of her true love Hubert.
Rose is survived by her sons Kevin and his wife Christine, Brendan and his wife Patricia and Michael and his wife Josephine, and her loving sister-in-law Bridie Courtney. Amongst her most cherished blessings were her grandchildren and great grandchildren: Courtney, Kerry, Brian, Katie, Bailey, Kristina, Sean, Emily, Colleen, Camryn, Kinsley, Grace, Chloe, and Sofia. Rose was predeceased by her 6 brothers and 2 sisters, her beloved grandson Timothy James and her loving granddaughter Caitlin Rose. In addition, Rose was predeceased by her adoring husband Hubert.
