Mrs. Rosetta Marie Talley

Mrs. Rosetta Marie Talley, (nee Squires), affectionately known as "Toni", departed this life Friday, April 26th, in Lake City, Florida. Toni was born February 14th, 1931 to Demmon and Hazel (Burris) Squires in Springfield, Illinois. Toni was the eldest daughter of this union which produced 6 girls and 5 boys. Three of her siblings, Dave Squires, Millie Guimard and Ruth (Clyde) Bunch all of Springfield, survive her. Toni has four surviving children with her husband, Sebastian (Mick) Miklautsch (now deceased), Pam (Gary) Thompson of Huntsville, Alabama, Sandi Rhodes of Springfield, Illinois, Kim (Rex) Nichola and Mike (Brenda) Miklautsch both of Lake City, Florida. Toni was later married to John Talley, Sr. (now deceased) and had two additional surviving children, Rae "Lisa" Thomas and John Talley, Jr. both of Lake City, Florida. She leaves behind 18 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. A celebration of life gathering will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 1 P.M. at Alligator Park in Lake City, Florida. Her family and her Creator were her greatest joys in life. She entered into her rest knowing she was greatly loved. GUERRY FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
