Our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and cousin, Rosie Lee Baldwin, received her call from heaven on December 16, 2025, at the age of 81 years old. She was born July 8, 1944 to the late George Webb and Minnie (Powell) Webb in Sherrill, Arkansas.
Rosie Lee Baldwin moved to Saginaw Michigan after graduating from Martin High School in Altheimer, Arkansas. She married her high school sweetheart, Albert Baldwin Sr. in July 1964. To this union four children were born. Rosie confessed a hope in Christ at a very early age, but it was in 1965 that she was baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Sister Baldwin was a member of Bethlehem Temple Church of the Apostolic Faith for over 60 years. There she served as Sunday school Superintendent and teacher, a missionary, the adult and missionary choir, and the kitchen staff. Her favorite ministry was writing and directing inspiring plays and puppet shows, creating her own puppets. She was a devout student of the word of God and had a strong penchant for prayer.
Rosie also served the Lord through her profession as a beautician. She began by beautifying her sisters as child but it was in her basement on Bagshaw that many women were able to receive encouragement, prayer, the love of God and her wisdom for their inside, while being beautified on the outside. She also enjoyed sewing, cooking, shopping and road trips to shop with her special cousin, friend and catering partner Sister Gloria Herd.
Sister Rosie “Rose” Lee Baldwin’s Memory will be cherished by her children, Darren Baldwin, Alpena, Michigan, Sheryl Baldwin and Reginald (Markitta) Baldwin both of Saginaw; grandchildren, Breonna(Daniella) Baldwin-Hayes, Fayetteville North Carolina, Darius (Ashley) Baldwin-Myles, PG County, Maryland, Albert Baldwin III, Sterling Heights, Devin (Janel) Baldwin, Traverse City, Kamisha Jackson Sterling Heights and Cory Hollar, Bay City; two sisters Essie Antwine, Atlanta, Georgia, Ruthann Williams, Altheimer, Arkansas; two brothers, Anthony “Andy” Webb and Nathaniel “Bo” Webb both of Saginaw, great-grandchildren, Jaden, Ja’Siyah Ja’Darius, Jaqueline Rose, Myles, J’rye, Drevon, Jordan, Jayla, Tomas, Aurionna, Na’Miyah, and special friends Jacqueline Rembrant, Minister Grace Brown, Barbara Reese and Sis.Willie Ann Matthews.
