Funeral services for Mrs. Rosie Lee Gilbert Montford, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 11 AM, at the Community Missionary Baptist Church, 863 James Grove Church Road in Wrightsville. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Rosie Lee Gilbert was born on Friday, July 19,1940, in Dublin, Georgia, to Charlie Gilbert and Louise Tucker. She attended the B. D. Perry High School in Laurens County. She began her employment at Dublinair Nursing Home. She then worked at the Veterans Administration Center for 25 years and had an early retirement.

She was called home on Friday, February 13, 2026. Mrs. Rosie Lee Montford was preceded in death by her husband, Tommie Lee Montford, her mother, Louise Tucker Gilbert, and her father, Charlie Gilbert, and her beloved stepmother. Myrtice Gilbert, her sisters, Louise Jones, Ludella Norman, Idella Gilbert, and Carrie Bell Spikes, and her brothers, Jerry Gilbert, and Joe Jones.

She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Therion Gilbert of Dublin, her grandchildren, Therion Gilbert, Jr., of Dublin, Donquelle Gilbert of Dublin, great-grandhildren, Donquelle Gilbert, Jr., of Swainsboro, Ezekiel Scott of Swainsboro, Kamhrion Hughes of Eastman, Shanti Carter of Dublin, siblings, Vera Gilbert of Dublin, Blanche Gilbert of Dublin, Charles (Angie Bell) Gilbert of Dublin, Willie (Perline) Gilbert of Dublin, devoted nieces, Diane Spikes and Jackie Pearson, both of Dublin, brother-in-law, David (Diane) Montford of Adrian, and devoted friend and caregiver, Jannice Hunt, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
