Rosie Amelia Stagner, age 89, passed away on September 11 in Midlothian, Texas. She was born January 13, 1936 in Chester, South Carolina to Adam & Fannie Varnadore and was raised in Great Falls, South Carolina.
Rosie Amelia married Freddie Mack Stagner, from Silver, Texas, in November 1954 and the couple had 5 children (Carolyn, Donna, Larry, Michael and Little John). They met while Fred was stationed at the Naval base in Norfolk, Virginia introduced by a sailor buddy from the Great Falls, South Carolina area. Rosie lived a happy life and was cherished by her husband a life time.
Rosie loved her family dearly and loved working in her garden. Her love for flowers was abundantly apparent and prideful of her homemaking skills as a wife, mother and grandmother. Her unconditional love for serving others, never herself, will be forever missed.
Rosie’s love was always felt by her husband Freddie Stagner; children and spouses Carolyn & Gary Cotton, Donna & Jerroll Essex, Larry & Teresa Stagner, Michael (deceased) & Dana Stagner and Little John who died at birth but dearly loved; her grandchildren Clinton, Curtis, Randy, Tanya, Jason, Brent, Shauna, Gabby, Mariah and Brandon; 28 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and a host of loving family and friends will cherish each and every memory Rosie Amelia shared with them.
Rest in peace in the arms of Jesus until we meet again in heaven.
