Rosina Ciocca Faithful Servant, Loving Wife, Mother, and Devoted Friend 1945 – 2025
Rosina Ciocca, 80, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord on October 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and under the compassionate care of VITAS Hospice.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Rosina was a proud graduate of John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls' High School. She went on to earn her degree from Holy Family College, later achieving a Master's in Clinical Psychology from Villanova University-a testament to her lifelong dedication to understanding and helping others.
Rosina's career was one of deep compassion and service. She worked as a therapist for veterans and children, bringing comfort and healing to those in need. In time, she fulfilled her calling by opening her own practice as a Christian Counselor, where her faith guided her work and inspired all who sought her care.
A devoted Catholic, Rosina was an active and cherished member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie. She served faithfully as a Eucharistic Minister and was instrumental in initiating prayer groups that brought her parish community closer to Christ. Most recently, she participated in the Ladies of Praise and numerous prayer ministries, sharing her joy, wisdom, and unshakable faith with all who knew her.
Rosina's greatest pride and joy were her family and her faith. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years Carmine Ciocca, three beloved children, Maria, John (Maria) and Beth (Steven), five cherished grandchildren, Kaitlin (Steve), Eric, Alex, Christian, John and two precious great-granddaughters, Emma Rose and Vienna. Rosina is also survived by two brothers and two sisters. She will be remembered for her warmth, her charismatic spirit, and her unwavering devotion to both God and those she loved.
Rosina's life was a beautiful reflection of grace, faith, and unconditional love-a legacy that will live on in all who were blessed to know her.
"May the choirs of angels come to greet her and take her to paradise."
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to VITAS Hospice or St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Rosina's memory.
