CAMDEN — Ross T. Brown, 77, of Camden, passed away on Monday, Nov. 21, 2022, at Hospice of Hamilton.
He was born Sept. 11, 1945, at Fort McClellan, Alabama, to the late Paul and Phyllis Brown. He was a 1963 graduate of Patterson Co-Op High School and earned his associate's degree in computer science in 1970. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran who worked in National Security. He retired from General Motors in Dayton, after 30 years of employment and later retired again in 2018 from Proctor and Gamble as a Food Safety Inspector. He was a former member of Fairhaven United Methodist Church where he served as a lay speaker; was a current member of the Eaton First Church of God; and was a member of the Camden Lions Club. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed being a part of the St. Paul UMC game club where he cherished his time with special friends.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda Brown of Camden; daughter Jodie (Clint) Wilmot of Camden; daughter Heather (Paul) Gregory of Eaton; son Michael Brown of Camden; seven grandchildren; one expected great-grandchild; brother Darryl (Jeanette) Brown of Dayton; sister Debbie (Greg) McPherson of Florida; brother Phillip (Joy) Brown of Georgia; brother Lee (Martina) Brown of Georgia; sister Becky of Georgia; brother Greg (Sandy) Donaldson of Xenia; numerous nieces and nephews; and special canine companion Boo.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, Nov. 29, from 6 p.m. until time of memorial service at 7 p.m., at the Eaton First Church of God, 601 E. Lexington Road, Eaton, with Pastor Aaron Holman officiating. Gard Funeral Home, Eaton, is assisting with arrangements.
