With true and heartfelt sympathy I wanted to send a note expressing our sadness to hear the news of Ross. Although I did not know him, members of my family did. It's hard to find words that fulfill the loss you and your family are experiencing but know you are in our thoughts.

The tragic news of the loss of your son and brother is so saddening. Sending heartfelt wishes for strength to heal after such a devastating loss seems insignificant and trivial. But, please take comfort in knowing that these wishes are sincere. Though I did not know Ross, from the photo in the obituary I can see the Rob I knew from law school in Ross's face and a zeal for life in Ross's smile, and; is that a bit of deviousness in Ross's eyes? All signs of a Steinberg in the truest sense. Ross and Rob must have shared the same wicked sense of humor and ability to command a party as well as a courtroom.

Ross was loved by many. His energetic spirit and love I will never forget. Sending love to his family during this difficult time.
