Rosslyn Walker, age 70, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all, passed away November 16, 2025.

Born in Atlanta, GA to William White and Betty Mae White (neé Ball), Rosslyn spent her early years growing up in the city. Toward her late childhood, the family moved to the Austell area, where Rosslyn graduated from South Cobb High School. In 1978, Rosslyn married the love of her life, James Larry Walker, and the two were inseparable for 47 years.

Rosslyn truly loved others. That love manifested as caring for all the neighborhood kids who lovingly called her "mom", sharing her time and resources with those in need, and often giving her last dollar to someone less fortunate. Rosslyn possessed a servant's heart. She was a dedicated caretaker to her mother, mother-in-law, and her husband, making sure their needs were met, even while battling her own illness.

Rosslyn found peace through beach trips, jamming to tunes on Alexa, and curling up with a good book. She brought light to the life of every person she met, and while she has left us physically, her impact will echo through all the lives she touched.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Jo Anne Caldwell and Janie Griffith.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Jimmy Walker of Douglasville; sons, Bo Walker (Melissa) of Dallas and Josh Walker (Sarah) of Dallas; sisters, Barbara Hambrick (Marion) and Jill Bettis (Wade); precious grandchildren, Kathryn, Gavin, Ethan, Madelyn, and John; and many beloved extended family and friends.

A memorial service honoring Rosslyn's life will be held Sunday, November 23, 3:00 PM at Davis-Struempf Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 PM before the service.

For anyone wishing to view the service virtually, a livestream link will be available on Rosslyn's Tribute Page at https://www.davisstruempf.com at the above-listed service time.
