Roxann Irelan

Roxann Irelan, a lifetime resident of Clarke County, Iowa, passed away peacefully at her home near Weldon on November 21, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on October 25, 1960, in Clarke County, Roxann spent her entire life in the community she cherished.
She was a proud graduate of Clarke Community High School, class of 1979. Roxann dedicated over 30 years to a successful career at John Deere Financial in Johnston. Upon retirement, she continued her passion for work at Agrivision in Leon until her health declined.
Roxann had a zest for life and a love of antiquing, often spending weekends at sales, flea markets, and swap meets. Her green thumb was evident in her beautifully tended flower gardens and yard. She found joy in paddle boating on her pond and talking to her cattle. A devoted family woman, Roxann provided dedicated care to her parents throughout their lives.
In the early 1980s, Roxann met Doug Irelan, and the two became inseparable. They were united in marriage on November 13, 1987 at the Little Church of The West in Las Vegas, NV, and built their life together in rural Clarke County, where they shared many happy years.
Preceding Roxann in death were her father, Leland W. Lewis, and mother, Waneta Ann Lewis and several aunts and uncles. She leaves behind a loving family, including her husband, Doug Irelan of Weldon, Iowa; brothers, Randy (Debbie) Lewis of Adel, Iowa, and Ron (James) Lewis of Hernando, MS; sister, Robbie (Joe) Potts of Panama City Beach, FL; as well as many nieces, nephews, numerous other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
Services to honor Roxann's life will be held at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 11:00 am, with Todd Carroll officiating. Family will greet friends from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at the funeral home. For those unable to attend in person, a live stream of the service will be available at www.kalefuneralhome.com on Roxann's tribute wall beginning at 11:00 am, Monday.
Interment will take place in Green Bay Cemetery at a later date.
