Roxanna Denise "Roxie" Benson

Roxanne was the best. She always had time to talk and laugh. She loved her sons and grandbabies.

Foxie Roxie was my work-study supervisor when I was a student at Trinity in the 1990's. Then we became friends in the 2000's when I started teaching there. I was amazed at her kindness, organization, and stamina! She would tell me about working all night at a watering-hole and then get to Trinity on time after just a couple hours of sleep. Always in a good mood. A light to be around. Trinity's former president often talks about how every student always has "8-12 adults" during their HS years that really make the big impact on the kid. She was one for me and so many others that she encountered. I'm devistated that I didn't hear about her death until after her funeral. So sad to have missed it. Love you, Roxie.
