Roxanne N. Griffiths

Roxanne N. Griffiths, 66, passed away June 17, 2024 at home in Magna, Utah. Roxanne was born September 7, 1956 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Robert and Lucille Norman. Roxanne married Melvin Griffiths on September 20, 1972 in Magna, Utah.

Roxanne loved crocheting, sewing, long walks, step aerobics, and making beautiful dolls and banks. Her favorite times were spent playing canasta, making candy, or dancing. She was a "down on the floor" kind of mom and grandma involved in everything. She never missed a sporting event and was always willing to play games, hopscotch, catch, or Candyland. Her infectious personality will be missed. 

Roxanne is survived by her children, Melvin "Turtle" Griffiths, Stacey Garcia, and Taffie (Michael) Hunter; 11 grandkids, 13 great grandkids, 6 sisters, and 3 brothers. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Griffiths; mother and father, Robert and Lucille Norman; brothers, Tony Norman, Robert "Bob" Norman; sister, Jackie Norman Gee.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 11:00am-1:00pm, with a funeral at 1:00pm at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. Magna Main St., Magna, Utah. Followed by food and drinks at 3:00pm at the Lions' Club at 8725 W. Hillcrest St., Bingham Canyon, UT, 84006.
