To the family of RoxianneLockhart Draper,
I am Wilma Tibbs Booker. My husband is Arthur D. Booker. Our prayers and deepest Sympathy to Otha and his children And family, and to Doris, Larry and Jennifer.
Roxianne and I started 1st grade together at Mt. Zion M. B. Church in Toney Al. And continued together at Toney Jr. High, Councill Training High and Al A &M University. Additionally, we were cousins. Two of our grandparents were siblings.
We always were in math classes and track together, and participated in other activities as well. And at times in church together.
I was one of her bridesmaids.
Our paths went in different directions, however, when Roxianne move away to Georgia. But there were times we were together again when she came back to Toney to visit and be with family. And to our 1964 class reunion.
I will always remember our childhood, friendship and school years together.
And may I add that my husband grew up very near to her home in Toney- Harvest Al,, and rode the same school bus to Councill Training High School.
We will cherish her memory.always.
May God continue to bless you family.
