Roy M Abada Sr was born in the Philippines on November 26, 1948. He came to the U.S in his early 20’s and spent most of his life in Los Angeles. He recently moved from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. On September 1, 2025, Roy passed peacefully. He is survived by his 2 sons Roy Abada JR and Rodney Abada and his daughter Robyn C Abada. He was a loving devoted father, grandfather and father in-law. Surrounded with love and admiration, he had 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandkids.
Roy had an outstanding career in architect engineering and design. He often travelled for work before retirement. He enjoyed laughter, bowling, photography and music. He often made friends finding local donut shops and restaurants where he became a regular. Roy traveled back to the Philippines to reunite with distant relatives after retirement. He was known for his generosity and humor and had a passion for adventure, travel and family.
Roy was loved by many and will be greatly missed by family and friends. His memories will be cherished for many years to come.
Celebration of his life and passing will be held Oct 3, 2025 @ Davis Funeral Home in Las Vegas, Nevada.
