5 years have passed. I think about you and Pops when I am sitting in a tower blind or stand bow hunting Whitetail deer. I stopped by the old homestead to pray and reflect on how lucky I am as a human being to have friends like you and Vern! God bless you both! Till we meet again!

I've stopped by to pray and visit you old friend. The old homestead isn't the same without the dogs barking and you or "Pops" coming to the door to let me know it's ok to come on in! Your resting place is quite and peacefully. The caretaker has to realize some of your old friends just stop by to say hello, and remember good days gone by.
Rest in Peace, Roy we will hunt again one day!

Roy was a good friend and I always enjoyed visiting with both his dad, Vern and Roy. We deer hunted together. Always enjoyed his company as we discussed hunting and trapping and the shooting sports. My Christmas card was returned and I didn't know of Roy's passing till I tried to contact him. Godspeed old friend! Tell Pops, I said hello and we will all three hunt again one day together!
