Roy Cude Obituary

Roy Cude, 55, of Baytown, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2009 in Baytown. He was born July 18, 1953 in San Antonio, was a longtime resident of Baytown and a Chief Operator with Exxon. Roy was a wonderful father who enjoyed fishing, motorcycles and watching NHRA racing. Mr. Cude was preceded in death by his father, Frank Cude and a brother, John Allen Cude. Survivors include his mother, Billie Cude of Devine; wife, Mary Ann Cude of Baytown; sons, Shawn Cude and his wife Kim of Katy and Scott Cude and his wife Amy of Baytown; brother, Charlie Cude and his wife Laura of San Antonio; sisters, Carol Rupklavis and her husband Ken of Converse and Marilyn Cude of San Antonio and grandchildren, Grant, Tyler, Megan and Gwenevere Cude. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 10, 2009 at Navarre Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 11, 2009 at Hurley Funeral Home in Devine with Dr. David Cooke officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Devine. Pallbearers will be, James Davis, Scott Cude, Albert Schneider, Doug Wadsworth, Terry Beck and Shawn Cude. Services are under the direction of Navarre Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, Texas 77521, (281) 422-8111.

Roy was a good friend and a good man. We will all miss him, especially while fishing or riding bikes. He and Larry Acosta must be riding now!
